Home / <h1>OEM fits the truck. OEM+ is built to last longer.</h1> <p class="lead-p">OEM+ means a DPF that meets the original equipment spec, then fixes the weak points that show up in the field. Elite studies where factory DPFs fail and builds those failures out.</p> <table class="cmp"><thead><tr><th></th><th>Typical OEM DPF</th><th>Elite OEM+ DPF</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><th>Housing</th><td>Often aluminized steel</td><td>Premium stainless steel</td></tr><tr><th>Corrosion</th><td>Coating can degrade with salt and moisture</td><td>Built for Canadian and northern US winters</td></tr><tr><th>Filter retention</th><td>May lack a dedicated mechanical stop</td><td>Wire-mesh seals and retaining rings on both sides</td></tr><tr><th>Sensor ports</th><td>Commonly resistance-welded</td><td>TIG-welded with filler wire</td></tr><tr><th>Warranty</th><td>Varies</td><td>3 years, unlimited miles</td></tr></tbody></table> <h2>Where standard DPFs fail</h2> <h3>Corrosion from salt and moisture</h3><p>Many factory housings use aluminized steel. Once the coating is scratched or worn, salt and slush attack the steel underneath. Elite uses premium stainless steel.</p> <h3>Substrate push-out under backpressure</h3><p>When soot or ash loading, missed regens or engine problems push backpressure up, an unprotected substrate can shift, and the DPF is done. Elite adds wire-mesh flat seals and retaining rings on both sides.</p> <h3>Sensor ports that fail during service</h3><p>A seized or stripped sensor bung can turn a sensor swap into a full DPF replacement. Elite TIG-welds sensor ports with filler wire for a stronger joint.</p> <h2>Built for Fleets, Shops & Distributors</h2> <p><b>Fleet managers: predictable costs, fewer comebacks.</b> An OEM+ DPF helps reduce avoidable failures that can turn routine service into another major replacement.</p> <p><b>Heavy-duty repair shops: repairs that stick.</b> Stronger sensor port welds help prevent a simple sensor replacement from becoming a full DPF replacement.</p> <p><b>Parts distributors: reliable supply, clear value.</b> Fewer warranty headaches, and a stronger reason for customers to choose a better-built aftermarket DPF from a Canadian-owned and operated company.</p> <h2>Continuous design improvement</h2><p>Elite uses field data, technician feedback, and failure analysis to keep improving its products.</p> <h2>Why it costs less</h2><p>Elite parts average 15% less than other aftermarket brands and up to 66% less than OEM list. That comes from how they're made and sold: in-house manufacturing in a purpose-built Ontario facility, controlled ISO 9001 processes, and selling through distributors instead of carrying an OEM's dealer and brand overhead.</p>
